Hi,
Sorry to be the one standing over your shoulder saying ‘you’ve missed a bit’ but the link above is currently to the latest CityTalk podcast. I’m sure it will be corrected by the time I’ve finished writing this. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
….and now it has. Thanks.
Guillem’s such a good lad. No surprise that he’s so well respected by fans and those within the game as well, which not many journalists as prolific as him can say. Remember feeling ashamed when some fans were on his case over Torres’ departure.
That was a brilliant interview with a guy who I’ve respected for a long time. I hope a lot of Liverpool fans listen to this and realise the patience we’ll need for a particular style that Rodgers is trying to implement. As pointed out by Balague, the academy work has been bedded in by Rafa, Segura and Borrell.
What was really interesting was the evident frustration from Balague on the average football fan’s lack of knowledge and perception of the work done by Guardiola as well as the status of Rafael Benitez. I’ve posted wherever I can for fans to respect the man for what he has achieved and at the very least, not to subject him to the kind of insults reserved for scum.
Anyway, it really was a pleasure and credit to Andy Heaton for doing a good job in the interview.
Hey, any chance we get a transcript of the interview?
