Gareth Roberts is joined for a mid-international break Anfield Wrap by Jay McKenna, Ian Salmon, Rob Gutmann and Fuad Hasan.
Jay discusses some of the work SOS and LFC collaborated on around World Mental Health Day, before updating on a pre-match collection for Sean Cox at the Cardiff City game.
The lads then discuss Gini Wijnaldum’s wonder goal, the conundrum of Liverpool’s midfield, the return of Adam Lallana and how fans and players may see international football differently.

Klopp has already stated this international tournament is useless. But what has come as a surprise is club captain Jordan Henderson had the choice of going back to Liverpool earlier because of his suspension. But what the stupid donkey did was to remain with England. John Stones was clever enough to go back to Mancity as he was also suspended like Henderson. Henderson has taken Liverpool for granted and Klopp to be too lenient. Mourinho or Guardiola would have thrown a massive tantrum if their captains did what Henderson did. Klopp should drop him from the team and replace him with Fabinho this weekend. The club doesn’t want morons like this who doesn’t know the importance of challenging for the title.
As soon as you called Henderson a ‘stupid donkey’ I could see where your comment was going. Let me guess…you’re someone who would never give Henderson any credit no matter how well he plays and picks fault with everything he does…??…yeah…thought so…
I read he stayed out in Spain as his family was joining him there. I would guess that the club approved it. It’s not as if Jurgen has been playing him every game anyway. It seems that people just want to kick off at him regardless whatever is true.
