Jürgen Klopp didn’t seem full of the joy of the football awards season the day after Mohamed Salah took a clean sweep at the club’s ceremony, before jetting off to London for the football writers’ edition.
For the final Team Talk of the season, Josh Sexton is joined by Gareth Roberts, Craig Hannan and Ian Ryan.
Also on the show, John Gibbons speaks to Brighton fan Alan Wares and has the last load of guests for the campaign in Travelling Kop.

I cannot believe how much you guys have continued to bang on about what you perceive to be the ‘social media meltdown’. Can you not see the difference between moaning and BEmoaning ???? 95% of the concerns / ‘half empty’ opinion being expressed was about how unlucky that we MAY have peaked / that the team may be running on empty / and we may not now be successful at the business end of the season ? We’re not BLAMING anybody or not grateful for the fact that we find ourselves in this glorious place. It is quite simply the fear and the sadness that we might be robbed of the final glory by circumstance. Seriously lads if you can’t see the difference between moaning and bemoaning then please for gods sake look them up in the dictionary.
Just for the avoidance of any doubt mate. Are you moaning or bemoaning right now you moany b*stard?
That’s pretty funny. I guess I’m moaning about the moaning about the bemoaning.
Nice meehans shoutout in Atlanta! Cant wait to get back to meehans n cheer on the reds in my new Firmino shirt Up the reds
The catch 22 of it is that it looks like Klopp has made the same mistake 2 seasons in a row. The thinking behind it if I have managed to second guess the great man is running a tight group of players all buying in to the “to the death” mentality. You can’t really do that with 20 or more players, it’s just too many plates to keep spinning. Conte did that last year, and it worked for him with the league. If we now win 1 or 2 games out of 2, including even a draw, we are on the gravy train.
We need a supporters group in Alaska! So we can all get up at 3 in the morning together.
The Brighton guest thankfully did a good job of summing up the dangers tomorrow … and the constant comments of them “being on the beach” from TAW crew have become quite tiresome and offensive.
They want to come away with pride, and have an intelligent, clever manager … without Mane I think we’re REALLY going to struggle to score much more than 1-2 goals, and I believe the fact we now can also draw and get top 4 might be crucial.
What you lot seem to be ignoring is that our problems now aren’t just linked to having CL fatigue and focus … We are genuinely struggling to put together a team that ‘works’ …. without an attack minded midfielder like Ox or Can, the forwards are getting isolated, and midfield simply aren’t contributing to helping attacks build.
Going to be VERY tight tomorrow …
We didn’t have Mane at Brighton away and scored 5.
