Lallana Signs
THE club have today officially confirmed that Adam Lallana has signed a new three-year deal with the option of an additional 12 months which will see him earn £110,000-a-week.
The England international has seven goals and seven assists this season and has become a key part of Jürgen Klopp’s plans.
The manager spoke in the wake of Lallana’s new deal, saying: “This is fantastic news for the club because Adam is a great player and an even better person. I am so pleased that we will spend more time together now and have this common future with LFC trying to be successful here.”
Lallana himself added: “I’m very proud and feel quite humbled by the show of faith from the club and the manager in particular. This is a really good place to be at the moment and, for a player who wants to be part of something special, I can’t think of a better club to commit your future to.”
Great news. Up the Reds.

Origi’s Up For The Fight
DIVOCK Origi has been sharing his thoughts on what has been a “season of ups and downs”.
The Belgian has scored eight goals in all competitions this campaign but has yet to nail down a regular starting spot, having struggled to capitalise on the absence of several of his colleagues over the winter period.
Origi told the Echo: “I want to make it hard for the manager to leave me out.
“To do that you have to show everything in training.
“You have to give everything and earn it. That’s my main focus. To give everything I have.”
Hard to fault the attitude of so many of these players. It seems that is the effect Klopp has on them.
Transfer Talk
COUPLE of transfer related stories doing the rounds today, including some names that would definitely be of interest to those who are into this kind of stuff.
Firstly, Klopp has been talking up a young Danish talent, by the name of Kasper Dolberg, saying: “Who doesn’t know Dolberg? You can’t play at Ajax without being noticed. He has a great future ahead. He is a fantastic player.”
German legend Lothar Matthaus reckons the chances of Liverpool signing Mario Gotze are gone. Gotze re-signed for Borussia Dortmund in the summer having been linked with a move to Anfield, and his future appears to be up in the air all over again — but Merseyside is apparently unlikely to be his next destination despite his ties with Klopp.
Finally, Real Madrid sent scouts to watch Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt in his side’s Champions League knockout clash with Atletico Madrid. Klopp is believed to be keen on the 20-year-old German, with the Reds being linked with a move throughout January. If that is the case, you’d imagine Liverpool will face some competition should they try and sign him in summer.
