If as soon as the transfer window opened those at the club who get paid to scout , recruit and sign players should have done their job and brought in a player to help the team. Too many people are letting this comitee or manager off by saying there just isn’t the players available this is a myth there are players available you just need to pay the right price. Bringing in a decent player would have gave everyone a much needed boost and Like we’ve all said we are going to look back at this opportunity and think if only we would have done this or done that. The club have known that Mane was going the club knows Sturridge get injured every season and the club have known we were not strong enough in wide attacking areas.
We have not played well now for a while possibly the second half against Middlesbrough. Origi has been shit all season simply not good enough do we just keep letting him off saying he’s only young ? Emre Can has been aweful same again is he let off cos he’s 23 we should not make their excuses for them. Taking too long on the ball, giving it away , badpassing no excuse

The usual unloyal over-reaction . Let’s face it we have over achieved up until about Bournemouth away. We came eigth last year granted a couple of places maybe down to Europa hopes but the reality is we wheel and dealed , more or less broke even in the summer transfer market and now we are suffering from a dip coinciding with the fact out defence/keeper/centre fwd situation is barely stronger than last year. The obligatory race for 4th beckons. Part of me thinks we might be better off not getting in the top 4 as then we will need quantity and quality. I’m gutted but fairly grateful we sit where we are at the moment considering we’ve lost points to Burnley, Southampton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Swansea
If we can’t get top 4 then we should avoid 6th and write off the season. With no depth and no quality, Thursday nights playing Euro trash will put us in mid table. Yet again.
Our RB Clyne peeps out from under the blanket so many times in a lot of matches. Very little end product from working these oppos. Just watched Silva vs. Tottenham use both feet when laying the ball off right and left. Much quicker transition.

Not having Ojo on the bench to give some pace and width
Not playing Struidge from the start and so on.
We can all be wise after the event but I am completely baffled and more than a little worried that he always makes changes at around the same time every game, surely by half time he could see changes were needed to be made in personnel and formation but yet again we wait till 70 to make changes.
Teams are starting to work us out and we can’t just rely on ‘heavy metal football’ to get us through.
It’s clear we need some reinforcements, at least one wide player not as a short fix but as a long term solution with or without Marne playing, after all in recent years this window we have seen Courtino, Struidge Luis. You can by quality
My final gripe is with Clyne, undoubtedly a very good player but his 7 out of 10 performances every week are starting to piss me off, because he could be so much more.
In games were we need to stretch the game to create space he is the outlet but he has to improve on his delivery and game intelligence, full backs in such games are match winners
We all have bad days at the office, unfortunately this one may have just cost us a chance of catching Chelsea, I would not change Klopp for any other manager but games where we struggle to break down so called lesser teams are becoming the rule, not the exception which is a worrying term of events.
Anyone recommend a treatment for this mood altering addiction ? Its taken over my life…need to walk away from it but can’t..up the heartbreaking reds
Like to add to the Full Back attacking conundrum, we don`t have the guile/craft to consistently unlock defenses down the flanks via the touch line. It goes against the grain referencing other teams however Arsenal when on song are the Masters of the art. Sturridge, if fit, and Firmino have to start togteher, with Coutinho and Lallana they clearly give defenses most to think about. Opposition allow Clyne to have the ball, no fear factor, he`s still got a bit of filling out to feature regularly but seen enough in Trent to appreciate he`s the future at RB before he eventually graduates in to CM.
We need to focus on getting to in and behind to the byline and then pulling back in or around the penalty spot via Coutino/Lallana and Sturridge/Firmino. We can`t continue to try and squeeze through the middle.

Klopp got it wrong and can bemoan the defending all he wants but he got it wrong there and in the middle and upfront. Also Origi was a stupid sub to bring on after Roberto Firmino equalised. The Kaiser gets 0/10 for his performance and shouldn’ just blame the terrible defending. The players let him down at times but his game plan and changes were ultimately at fault.
I believe in him and his intelligence to turn this around as there’s 48 points to fight for.
There’s money in the kitty and with his scouting awareness that he tells us he has- now is the time to bring in at least 2 decent players to give us serious options when the chips are down and injuries etc. wreck havoc to our rhythm.
Chelsea’s win today makes it improbable-but we’ve done the impossible before- so who knows.
Hi Peter, how you doing? Agree with all of your observations regarding yesterday’s game especially his subs and his timing of it. It’s hard to see this from him since Jurgen is so talented and very capable much more than we think.
Since you mentioned Chelsea I want to add that looking at Chelsea play today, they hardly ever pass backwards or sideways like we do or produce predictable games. Ever notice how Hazard turns the ball and begins to look forward and around quickly? It kind of gets the others doing the same like he’s dictating the rhythm.
Chelsea don’t send in hopeful crosses from their wide positions like we have players like Clyne doing or shooting aimlessly like they are at target practice. Their wingers either beat their man and run toward the net for a pass or they play keep away in the corner until someone is open. They make Jurgen and his scouts look like they never saw players like Ronaldinho or Zidane exist.
Chelsea don’t play possession for possessions sake and they go all out to beat the bus. Chelsea have transformed since we have beaten them, much more than we could with our lot playing in Red or in that horrible toxic shit of a kit. Conte seems to have turned his lot from a griping and bickering bunch of kids into men who know what to do.
Klopp as I said previously on here needs to suck it up, watch, learn, adapt and apply. He will come into his own after that, but not now from the looks of it.
He’s creating the roller coaster ride like many Dortmund fans said on here that he would but I’m not interested. I want consistency and the fight to retain the status we once enjoyed of being top notch, not mid-table.
