BIG game for the Reds tomorrow as the long ball, bus parking merchants West Brom arrive at Anfield.
Every game feels like a six-pointer this season, which is a positive and a negative. It’s positive because we’re in this, we know we’re in this and we know that every single other team in this league wants our points. However, it’s terrible for the nerves isn’t it? Not that I’d have it any other other way.
Firmino: I’m Always Trying To Get Better
I think he’s boss, Bobby. I’ve said it before but I reckon he’s one of our most important players ’cause he makes things happen. And he always looks like he’s enjoying playing, which is massive for me.
When quizzed by Liverpoolfc.com about playing at Anfield, he said: “Every time I play at Anfield, I like the atmosphere the supporters create. I get goose bumps when they sing – it really is incredible to play there.”
Love that. Atmosphere has to improve this weekend though, to be honest.
Lovren: We Have The Quality To Beat Everyone
Degsy Lovren has been talking ahead of the West Brom clash. He reckons we can beat everybody on our day and wants to show it against The Baggies. I agree and I also want them to show it against The Baggies.
He said: “Every game is a ‘win’ game for us – we have the quality to beat everyone, when you look at the teams we have played already. It’s just about a winning mentality. If we can keep that, at the end of the season we can be proud.”
Is right, Degsy. Into these.
Gomez: Signing For Liverpool Was A Dream Come True
Seems like a good lad, Joe Gomez. Anybody who loves playing for Liverpool as much as I would get’s my seal of approval. And it seems he does.
He told BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Charlie Sloth in an interview at Melwood: “It was a dream come true. I never would have imagined a year before that I would be in that position. It’s a day I’ll forever be proud of. It’s an honour to be part of this club.”
Go ‘ed Joe. Looking forward to seeing him back in action.
Off To The Match We Go
Doesn’t get much of a shout on our site but, in case you didn’t know, we do a weekly newsletter looking ahead to the weekend’s game. And a look back at what we’ve been doing at TAW over the past week. Get on it.

Gutmann previews the visit of West Brom and preaches patience in the face of Pulis’s large lads, which you can read here.
Jamie Braidwood has been looking at what we can expect from Pulis’s West Brom. Read it here.
Finally, Jamie also spoke to Andrew Benbow a West Brom fan and blogger for the Birmingham Mail, to find out what’s going on at The Albion. Read that here.
