“Confidence is a big word in football”. Well yes but not as big as ‘Gegenpressing”. That’s at least (counts on fingers) er’ three letters bigger, I mean, longer, surely? (Don’t call me Shirley). :) Up the fluid, in and out, shake it all about, Reds!
Ps- Love Guttman trying to get his Whelan comparison in first, took me back to seminars and lectures, “but Sir, it wasn’t Napoleon who called England a nation of shopkeepers, it was Adam Smith, y’know, the one who sometimes appears on The Anfield Wrap”. Get Maynard-Keynes on you lot, then I’ll really be impressed. :)
Okay, okay, IMPLIED by Adam Smith, (definitely not Boney’ though, although Wilfrid does strike me as the thoughtful type! (and yes, I’m having a boring and lazy afternoon. Made better by the Wrap natch’ :)
Great show tonight. May well be your best lineup yet, really good in-depth analysis.
Up with this sort of thing!
