The Anfield Wrap’s last look at the weekend action, taking into account repeated viewings as well as stats and patterns around the game. Neil Atkinson and Sean Rogers look to have the final word on what unfolded in the 90 minutes and contextualise it across the season.
In this week’s Tuesday Review, debutant Andy Heaton is joined by Sean Rogers and Ian Salmon to have a in-depth look at Liverpool’s first home win of the season against champions Leicester City.
Please forgive some (hopefully) constructive criticism. The Tuesday Review is an excellent show but it works because the host facilitates and teases out opinion from the guests. It doesn’t work when the host is constantly interrupting his or her guests and trying to set his or her own agenda.
This applies to all shows: constant interruption does not make for good podcasts, but even more for TR, for obvious reasons.
Keep up the good work!
I wanted to post something along exactly the same lines. The show was ruined for me by AH constantly interrupting SR/IS, and trying to make his own points. It’s an annoying habit he’s got – and one which I hope he can get out of (as otherwise his contributions to shows are generally good).
Excellent fill-in Andy. Tell Sean to bring his kids along so discussion Can Coutinho.
