THE transfer window closes at 11.30pm tomorrow night, so here is a round-up of the latest Liverpool FC transfer gossip.
Pulisic Move Unlikely
ESPN are reporting that a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic is unlikely to be concluded during this transfer window.
Jürgen Klopp is a big fan of the 17-year-old, having initially brought him to Dortmund, and the Reds were believed to have made a bid in the region of £11million, which looks likely to be rejected.
If we want him, and he wants us, I’m sure we’ll get him in the future.
Sakho Rejects Stoke
Mamadou Sakho has turned down a loan move to Stoke City, according to The Mirror.
The Frenchman’s future at the club remains unclear, with Liverpool believed to be open to loan offers.
Stoke are understood to be pursuing Phil Jones after the Sakho setback. Lol.

Balo To Nice Looks Likely
Reports in the Daily Mail suggest that Mario Balotelli is set to make a move to French club Nice.
The Italian has been linked with several moves this summer, and it appears the saga may be set to finally come to an end.
Is right.
Ings Approaches Snubbed
Liverpool have rejected several approaches for Danny Ings, according to the ECHO.
The 24-year-old is yet to play a minute of competitive football this season, but it is understood that Klopp still sees the striker as part of his plans — and is easing him back to full fitness after his cruciate ligament injury.
Speaking of Ings, this popped up over the weekend, and it’s boss:

Rafa In For Markovic
Goal.com are reporting that Newcastle have made an approach for Lazar Markovic, and are willing to go “above and beyond” to sign the player.
Markovic has struggled to force his way into Klopp’s plans, and is reportedly open to the idea of dropping down to the Championship to revive his career.
Still reckon he’s too good for the Championship.
Reds Agree Alberto Fee
Liverpool have agreed a fee of around £6m for Luis Alberto, according to the ECHO.
The fee is believed to be £4.3m up front with a further £1.7m in add ons, triggered by European qualification, and a 30% sell on clause.
Good move for all parties.
Wisdom Set For Salzburg
The ECHO are also reporting that Liverpool have agreed to loan Andre Wisdom to Red Bull Salzburg for the rest of the season.
Wisdom is another player who is surplus to requirements at the club, and he is now set for a fourth loan move in as many years.
Bit of a mad move, isn’t it.

JK should let go of the thing between him and MS. he is being punished for what happened in the USA and the team is in need of his services. Look at all the negative comments and attitude DS gives him or tweet and yet nothing is done about it. He should let DS go as he is doing more damage to the club than MS. There are so many better players in the team that can replace Sturridge but not one for Sakho.
Haha.

If our shit owners had any aspirations on progression into Europe and then progression when in Europe, they would be spending in transfer windows instead of profiting.
SHIT OWNERS.
The owners aren’t ‘profiting’ as they do not take any money out of the club. Utter simpleton.
You will be saying FSG bought the club because of a love for the city of Liverpool next.
I suppose you believed John Henry’s”open letter” too.
Naive, toady imbecile.
The clubs accounts are made public every year.
You could find proof there of them taking money out perhaps.
Maybe you have other proof?
So if FSG are not here for profit, WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY HERE FOR?
I hate myself every time I find myself defending FSG but I don’t like false allegations in any aspect of life. As Michael said, the accounts are available.
They don’t take money out as a wage or the equivalent of a dividend. They claim expenses. I think 1 year the expenses were as high as £1m.
They don’t put money in either. I think they put £50m in at the start towards buying players which they wrote off last year for equity in the club. They also borrowed the club £115m for the new stand interest free to be paid back over 5 years.
The truth is they’re custodians of LFC. They decide how much of the money we make we can spend on wages and transfer fees. Apart from the above they neither put in or take out. They bought LFC cheap. H&G were swindled. There’s no doubt about that. By getting the club in the black with more revenue coming in annually than going out the club will be worth more. They could in effect sell 30% of the club and break even on their spends so far. It’d leave a tidy 70% profit when they sell. I think they’re reluctant to do that though because each year the value is rocketing up.
So, you don’t have worry about them. They knew what they’re doing buying LFC but they don’t take money out and don’t touch the profits. They’ll be alright in the end though. It wasn’t for the love of the club as you say but as I mentioned yesterday, you’re definitely missing 2 key aspects of their eventual windfall. 1. The more successful LFC are the more they make – Fact and 2. Hedge funds, VC’s, whatever you want to call them are obsessed by their image which comes from the success or failure of their acquisitions. They won’t be pleased with mediocrity.
E.g. You won’t see many companies begging H&G to buy them out, invest in them etc.
You are missing the key point you cannot compete in Football and be profitable.
The key to profit is to buy a global brand with a high turnover and run it as a mid table club, with mid table expenditure, or lower.
And so it proves to be.
Clueless mate. Forget economics. Yeah you read a book but that doesn’t make you John Keynes.
It’s a bit worrying.
Last year Klopp was moaning that too many players were out on loan and I remember him saying that players can improve at the club as well.
This year he seems to be off loading/ trying to off load a number of players including some I can’t understand such as Ings, Flanno and Sakho.
If Ings played against Barnsley I reckon we would have gained a point at least. He knows how to play against those teams.
Actually we are only a few injuries away from another crisis in defence.
Where is the replacement for Clyne?
Where is the second left back?
We need to back up central defenders and if Sakho goes we will only have one.
Fingers crossed and Believe, but the season seems to have started like another Reds season where we finish between 4-8th
Barnsley?! Stopped reading your nonsense at that point.
Spot the superfan amongst us.
Cannot get my head round this Sakho thing.
He’s now being told if he stays he’ll not play a min of football.
Surely the differences can be worked out.
I’m completely baffled but what I would say is this.
If everything was as straightforward as we all think as in :-
Play Sturridge up front home and away.
Keep Sakho
Buy a new left back
Drop Coutinho deeper
Buy a world class holding midfielder
Etc, Etc, Etc
Then – what would be the point in having Klopp as manager?
We could get Neil from TAW to be manager instead.
There comes a time when we have to just accept it is what it is.
‘Hopefully’ Klopp knows what he’s doing.
Imagine if this year, next year or in 2 years we win the league.
We’re all going to look pretty stupid because we’ve all peddled the ‘this makes no sense at all’ line regarding some aspect of how the club is run.
I suppose my point is, let’s hope the people around the club every day know more than us and know what will improve things. None of us have any experience of top flight football management. If it was as easy as keep him, buy him, sell him, play him there etc etc, then any of us could do it.
Like you, I’m completely mystified by the treatment of Sakho but maybe, just maybe, this will prove to be a good move over time whether he comes back brilliant or we replace him with someone who turns out to be brilliant for the club. I’d like to see Sakho start before Lovren. Yeah DL has done better this season but I still question aspects of his game. But then, there are many who question parts of Sakho’s game.
So, I agree with your point but I’m looking at it that this may be for the best. Klopp seems to think it is and in the absence of having any great knowledge in management myself I’m happy to go along with it and trust Klopp, bizarre though it seems.
I wonder whether he made any decisions at Dortmund in his first few years that the fans thought was utter folly.
Point being – We all think we know what’s needed
I’m baffled by the Sakho thing as well. I’d hate to see him go to one of our rivals and improve their team.
I can understand other decisions but I can’t understand this one. Our squad is weaker if he leaves, that can’t be good.
Other players have done worse in the past, recent and further back, but we’ve found a way to work through differences.
