HERE is your tea time round-up of today’s biggest Liverpool FC stories.
Latest On Benteke
Another club apparently in for Christian Benteke, and it’s Tony Pulis’s West Brom – with Saido Berahino potentially heading for the exit.
Crystal Palace are still the favourites, with the club said to be in talks with Liverpool, though no deal has been agreed yet.

Klopp Says He Won’t Rotate
The manager has been speaking to the club’s official magazine, talking about competition for places in the team, and the club’s fixture schedule ahead of the upcoming season.
He said: “So it’s not that you have to change the team a lot between two Saturday games or two Sunday games – it’s nothing about rotation. It’s about: ‘OK, who is ready now? Who is ready to perform how we need in each specific game?’”
Not long now, Reds.

Reds Sign Woodgate
It is Jonathan Woodgate. But it’s not as a player. The former Real Madrid man has signed for Liverpool as a scout, having retired from professional football.
Woodgate will use his “expertise” to scout players from Spain and Portugal.
I’m not making this up.

Stats Season Preview
A great piece by @Pete_Owen for Stats Bomb, looking ahead to the Reds season and making some predictions based on last season’s stats, and a couple of bits from pre-season.
Highlights two of the key problems from last season, which were injuries to Daniel Sturridge and mistakes by Simon Mignolet. Think that was clear, nonetheless well worth a read.

You’re doing a great job Josh, keep up the good work!
I’ll second that. Nice one Josh.
Sturridge crocked and Mignolet crap? Been trying to put my finger on what it was for two years now to no avail so I’m just glad someone’s analysed the statistics to figure it all out for us.
Also, Woodgate is the new Twentyman and the footballing world’s just gonna have to deal with it I’m afraid.
