IT’S A NEW SHOW! How exciting. A show where we get into the big issues and some slightly less big issues that you, the listener, want to us to speak on.
Host Neil Atkinson is joined for the first Wildcards show by John Gibbons, Rob Gutmann, Steve Graves and Ben Johnson for a range of LFC, football and ‘other’ subjects, which this week are:
Danny Ings and his LFC future
Is Luis Suarez and LFC great?
A triple threat footy debate on
– Can Leicester sustain as a top level club?
– How competitive is Spain and La Liga?
– How hard is it to referee?
And a chat about celebrity deaths in 2016
A good effort first time round, we think. But let us know how you found it in the comments below.
In a free clip from the show, listen to Rob, Ben, Neil, John and Steve chat about Danny Ings.

John, if you drop us an email to [email protected] we’ll be able to help you with this.
Excellent first show really enjoyed it
Great idea for a new show. Loved it. Wanted to suggest another idea for Neil, King of Content: would you do a show (or shows) around a “Team of Fear”? I.e.- what non-Liverpool players on English/EPL teams were you most afraid of. My thought is that you and other hosts debate who to put on this 11 man “team of fear” for each decade and discuss each selection you finalize. While TAW obviously focuses on the Reds, I like hearing your opinion on other teams and players as well. You could do a different show for each decades scary team, and at the end of the show, discuss how you think the “team of fear” would stack up against the best Liverpool team of the decade. Note that I am particularly interested in the 90s and 00s teams- a 2000s fear team with Henry and Ronaldo would scare the life out of me. Anyway, just a suggestion guys
Great show lads, but can i make a small request. It’s bad enough that The Guardian and New Statesman have been hijacked by bitter New Labour types, I don’t listen to TAW to hear more of them: lads you lost. On jus about every demographic. Get over it.
I’m all for free speech, but if someone’s going have a go, can we have a bit of balance, please and a few facts. The full members voted overwhelmingly for Corbyn: he’d have won without the £3 members.
Lecture over.
Clearly the above isn’t aimed at TAW as such, but Steve (whose contributions I generally enjoy btw). The Liverpool i grew up in was a socialist, not a New Labour city.
