Great show this week boys, but you’re wrong, wrong, wrong about Ronnie Whelan Neil. He was a great player for us. I cited Ronnie Whelan as a model for Stevie’s late career when a lot of younger fans were talking about Paul Scholes. Whelan showed how you could extend your career with a bit of nous. Sadly Stevie, for all his manifest qualities, was unable to adapt his game as successfully as Ronnie, though he did, of course, bring other qualities to the table.
