Utd are undoubtedly the easiest target next season. Despite the war chest a few bad bets could see them going our way – that’s maybe wishful thinking but closer to reality than seeing them retain an unchallenged position in the top four in the foreseeable future.
At the moment I’m hopeful for third but we’re missing the right striker
Thanks to Steve for.joining the lads, first sand foremost. Great discussion.
However, Steve’s assertion that Utd will pull away from Liverpool this season was contradicted by his admission that they still need major surgery, especially down the spine…..
Either that or he simply doesn’t rate Liverpool……
Would have liked more City discussion as I think they’ve lost their mojo so to speak, but time wouldn’t permit. Looking forward to see if the fill those extra seats…..
Cheers.
I think the guy just doesn’t rate us. The other teams, the ones that are arguably better than us, have yet to make much of an impression on the transfer market. And whilst our early business looks good in isolation, it depends very much on what those who finished above us do, I think it’s too early to be dismissing some of those teams bearing in mind they generally shop in the level above us.
Jesus, how have we missed out on Cabaye. He’s a steal at that price. Our Transfer Committee sucks. It’s all very well targeting youngsters but you should be sniffing around for bargains too.
