THE VIPER KINGS, KOF, CITY WALLS
THE FIRST Liverpool International Music Festival in 2013 was a resounding success, leaving the The Mathew Street Festival it had replaced a distant memory. This year it looks better again, with artists such as Ian Broudie and The Lightning Seeds, Shaggy (!), Foxes, Ella Eyre, Goldie, Boy George and all the best emerging talent in Liverpool performing at events between the 13th and the 31st of August 2014. Events and stages are being hosted by people like MTV, Steve Levine. Liverpool Sound City, Getintothis and, now – us.
On the 15th August we take over East Village Arts Club to host three great Merseyside artists for just £3 a ticket!
First up is Paul Crowe from (very) popular Liverpool band The City Walls. Whilst the band are on a short hiatus, he couldn’t resist getting involved when he heard we were hosting a party. He’s said he’ll probably bring a few mates with him onstage, but the songs sound terrific whatever the form of the band, so we are all in for a treat whatever
KOF has been one of the biggest artists in Liverpool for a while now, receiving national recognition, playlisted songs and festival billings. He’s been away recording new material, so this will be a great opportunity to see what he’s been up to. But in the mean time, he’s a great track from last year
Finally The Viper Kings are a Merseyside super group featuring Neville Skelly, Ian Skelly (The Coral), Paul Molloy (The Zutons, The Stands) and James Redmond (James Skelly and The Intenders). Calling themselves a ‘Blues Rock n Roll Revival’, the band are quickly gaining attention in their own right for a phenomenal live show. We’re delighted we’ll all be among the first to see them
Again, ITS THREE QUID!! We always spoil you. Come down and start the weekend with us. By the end of it, we’ll be top of the league.
Tickets available from our mates at See (link below). Doors at 7pm
