To help tell the story we first speak to Sue Carmichael and Janie Moore from Liverpool Feds FC Women, who worked with Missy Bo when she was just a child with a ball at her feet and big dreams of playing for The Reds one day on her mind.
We also speak to Gemma Bonner, Missy Bo’s now-teammate and a player who was a crucial part of the senior setup as the now 22-year-old made her way through the youth ranks at the club, before lining up alongside her in the Women’s Super League to this day.
Finally, we catch up to the present day where Missy Bo has made herself a crucial fixture within Matt Beard’s Mighty Reds team, and Jay Goodall – Chair and Founder of the Liverpool FC Women Supporters Club – gives the supporter angle on the young star making all of Merseyside proud.
