So if we prioritise the league and Champions league ahead of the FA Cup and League Cup every year we can’t moan about how unlucky we’ve been with the draws we’ve had in those competitions if we are always going to put a weakened side out. I get it, but I’d also love us to win one of these trophies. It’s nice to see some of the young lads get a game, but they haven’t got another opportunity this season to play for the first team now. A stronger first 11 might have got us through there.
