Well he picked a great day for it – Zinedine Zidane resigns as Real Madrid manager on the day Paul Senior decided to get the gang back together for TAW Player’s Top Show.

It is the first season review, looking across the continent, starting in Spain now to talk about the impact of Zidane on Real Madrid and the whole of the Spanish season. There is a long look up and down the division – Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and so on, but the focus is on the departing manager and what happens next.

Then the attention turns to Serie A – the best title race of the season – Juventus and Napoli slugged it out and while the latter reached 90 points it still wasn’t enough. Roma had one hell of a season but Lazio’s dreams died on the last day.

Parma will be back next season which is very exciting as well and Benevento got their win eventually.

There is loads of transfer talk too about how the dominos may fall across Europe.
