Our first review from The Coach Home this season sees us just pop up the M62. The Mancunian clubs finished first and second and we start with the runners-up.
Steve Armstrong talks through what needs to be different at Manchester United and what the manager needs to focus on. The style of play is an issue but there aren’t quite enough results.
Ste Tudor has, on the other hand, seen the best football of his life this season. He talks about where he thinks the league was won.
Both talk about what they think needs to happen next at their clubs with Neil Atkinson and Mo Stewart.
Probably the funniest coach home yet – ‘Any season without a trophy is a failure. United fans demand trophies. United can’t be 19 points behind the leader.’ Mo asks so what next ‘Oh, just a few tweaks, Jose a born winner, United are amazing, your fans heads fall off and we are way above that.’
Brilliant stuff – more from him please.
Yeah, he’s consistently bullish to the point where there’s no point listening. Even after playing dire football, he says the same thing.
I like listening to Ste Armnstrong and United playing shit football got 82 points and with a few tweaks they could get more, (not sure what those tweaks are). At the same time it could all turn dog shit very quickly if City and Liverpool fly out the blocks
Armstrong’s very annoying when he sounds like he has been on the Charlie and very deluded but most football fans are like that.
