Liverpool beat Roma in the first leg, but they finished the job on Wednesday. Daniel Austin and Fuad Hasan were both there and they describe what it was like to see Liverpool win in the Eternal City.
Now we find ourselves off to Kiev with a small allocation and with a date against Real Madrid for the biggest prize in club football.
What can be said about this Liverpool side which hasn’t been already? We work though Wednesday and a season which could bear the biggest prize of them all.
We also look ahead to Liverpool’s game against Chelsea; a game The Reds could very much do with getting a result from. What – if any – room does the Liverpool manager have to manoeuvre? Can he ask his lads to go one more time?
What a week it has been for Liverpool. What a season. And it isn’t over yet.
I am 30 years away from my home town and LFC but have always supported and taken, ‘quite a lot of shit’ for it… and i have to say I am pretty proud of what you guys are doing here and to hear this meeting of smart minds in Rome makes me even prouder. I remember football in the 80’s and it wasn’t pretty…. and this is very hart warming to listen too! Can I also thank you for keeping the expressions ‘Blurt/Blert, Mef and Boss’ alive…. cheers fellas.. Al
great listen. I like a bit of Reds win and Kante booked @ 14/1
