Gareth Roberts and Andy Heaton went to Prenton Park to talk to Tranmere Rovers owner and chairman Mark Palios about Rovers’ battle to regain their Football League status.
Mark tells of life at level five of English football, why the club has restructured its youth teams because of the legacy of the Elite Player Performance Plan and hopes for the rest of the season – including a different style of play-off system.
Just wanted to say I thought this was cracker. Really interesting, both because I’m learning quite a bit about a league and team I know nothing about, but also because Mark is speaking frankly about the club he runs and I NEVER hear that anywhere else. Nice one.
Don’t normally come onto the website, podcast addict is far too handy. Just wanted to say I enjoyed it. On a side note, I don’t know if you guys changed something, but the pods are loading so much quicker now!
