As the transfer market enters it’s final fortnight and having failed to prise Naby Keita from Leipzig questions remain as to whether Liverpool will re-enter the market to strengthen the forward line, but with the news that Ben Woodburn has been denied a loan move to Sunderland the prospect of a new attacker arriving at Anfield appear to be diminishing.
But with the on-going chatter around Simon’s Mignolet’s demotion to the bench and the fallout around potentially losing his place in the Belgium World Cup squad and with mentions Roma’s goalkeeper Allison Becker adding fuel to the fire, could we one keeper leave and one arrive?
Rob Gutmann is joined by Melissa Reddy, Neil Atkinson and Andy Heaton for the latest edition of the Gutter show.
Bless you Mel, I like you :) Praying we sign a forward before the window shuts.
Desperation left the team with Andy Carroll and Balotelli. You seem to have very little faith in the manager or young players like Woodburn. Sad
Mel is rad! Everybody else is pretty decent too.
Don’t hate me but I would like us to buy Willian.
