Sorry lads. How you can you say it ‘Simply wasnt a pen’?? Was one of the most blatant pens you will see.
No disrespect boys but listening to your last few post match shows it would seem like my subscription is going into the pot for your end of Match piss up not your end of match review. Two weeks ago it was literally inaudible this week it descended into a drunken squabble that I could hear in any pub anywhere in the country. Pls I’ve loved this podcast for over a year now do not let your standards slip YNWA

reds,caging us in and dizzying us with their pass and control. Even One fewer technical players means it’s always coming back at us. Man, Klavan needed to web that last corner.
We were.asked at the emd if we would like to hear more of this to “come.round to ours on a saturday night.” No thanks. Everyone talkimg over each other, making stupid jokes that had nothing to do what the person speaking was talking about. Not letting people get to their point. Neil. Get a grip of who your paying punters are made to listen to on what is usually a fabulous show.
That was a great show.
Sums up the frustration being felt.

Jesus so we’ve got people on who missed the game because they were out for a run to give me their opinions on the match that I watched? I’ve already listened to that level of analysis from numerous people in work who read the BBC match report this morning.
I think a lot of the criticism of the shows in the comments section is unwarranted at times and there is undoubtedly a lot of very good content on here but it feels like the quality is suffering recently. The Pink shows are core content for me (and I would guess most subscribers) so to have people on who were out for a run during the game to talk about it is quite frankly taking the piss.
Add to that the complaining about what was a clear penalty and attempted criticism of Karius who had one of his better games and the credibility of the show is on the ropes.
More and more, TAW are sounding like the drunk lads down the pub who don’t have a clue. The Pink is usually a bit of a laugh and admittedly not the most insightful show, but ffs lads, how about a tiny bit of professionalism.
How about going to someplace quiet for an hour so that the people paying your subscriptions can actually hear whats going on.
How about having people on the show who’ve actually watched the bleeding match.
I could go on about my issues with the other shows but I’ll leave that for another day.
No Game Intelligence agin from the players or Klopp.

Really difficult to listen to. Stop interrupting each other! Lots of great points that it didn’t get to hear cause no one got to finish. Dead frustrating

Some very good points, but hard to listen to due to everyone shouting over each other and a lot of stupid random comments! Understand the need to get the bevies in for last orders but the rest just took the enjoyment out of it. Bit like the Reds I suppose, so it’s not just the players……
I know ye try and get this show out right after the match, and fair play for doing so. But any chance ye could go someplace quiet so that we can actually hear whats being said?
Appreciate the work that’s gone into it, but would like less like this unless its a live show or summit

Not the best lads, appreciate a bit of hosting and structure even in The Pink, not just fellas shouting over each other.
I generally don’t listen to The Pink as I enjoy listening to the main show and Tuesday Reviews, which are both almost always excellent and spending three and a half hours between watching and listening to analysis of a game is just about enough of my time I can spare on one game of football. So I may not be in the best position to comment but people giving out about the quality and the people talking over each other on it is a bit rich.
If I’m not mistaken, the whole concept of The Pink is that the discussion is at it’s rawest and most irrational. And after a game like that emotions are bound to be high and thinking a bit muddled. I was talking even more nonsense then usual straight after the game last night but have calmed down sufficiently in work today to have avoided everyone in the kitchen that I only had to talk about it once in relaxed manner.
It disappoints me when I see 19 comments on a not-well received show, whereas there are literally being 100s of outstanding, informative, funny, brilliant shows that don’t receive anywhere near as much feedback as this show has.
We’re all p*ssed off and have a sense of “not this again”, but let’s get behind the lads that run this site and the team itself. Onto Chelsea Saturday and we will look back on all this as a mere blip in a few months time.

You’re probably right that it’s frustration with the match boiling over and being taken out on the people doing the pod. Definitely in terms of the number of comments, there wouldn’t be as many if we’d have won.
However, as another commented has posted, this is the third sub-standard show like this in recent memory. I say ‘sub-standard’ because The Pink is usually a lot better than the show they put out on Tue. As someone who essentially only listens to ‘The Pink’ and ‘The Review’ (and the main ones when i get the chance) it’s frustrating to see the quality suffer, and it hasn’t just been a one off.
You’re spot on when you say the commentary is at its most raw and irrational, and that’s why I don’t have any issue with them claiming the Albie fowl wasn’t a pen or any of the other opinions. Mostly I’m taking issue with the fact the background noise is so loud I cant really hear what they’re saying. The Pink is supposed to be a laugh with your mates, tempers will be high, daft stuff will be shouted, but it’s all for nowt if the listen can’t hear what’s going on.
And if we as listeners don’t pipe up when something is off, the lads won’t know how to improve the shows.
Anyway that’s my take on it, it might be daft but there it is.
