A solid 1-0 win for Liverpool starts their Anfield league campaign and The Anfield Wrap have their post match show here concentrating on Robertson’s debut and Liverpool making it happen by hook or by crook.
Neil Atkinson is joined by Si Mooney, Phil Blundell and Ian Salmon for a look at a rare run of the mill victory.
3 points.
0 injuries.
5 second teamers had confidence building (theirs and ours) runouts.
1 clean sheet.
I’d take that on any week, especially so in a Euro gap game like this.
All this + getting some luck with Palace missing their share of sitters.
Too many times we’ve been on the receiving end.
Need to get over this CL qualifier.
I wish Jurgen has a sound defensive plan for the players and hope they can execute.
It won’t be easy but we can get this done.
Come on you Reds!
A beautifully rounded Pink, boys. Thank you from one who couldn’t watch live. And while on the subject of a match day, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip from the stadium up to the Glenbuck and back before kick-off. I even knew half the people in the pub. :)

Hold my hands up, knew Robinson was good going forward but not quite that good.
So refreshing to have a proper left sided left back who has game intelligence playing there, tougher tests defensively for him to come but a very good start.
Midfield, especially Henderson and Wijnaldum looks ponderous and a worry.
Away from Liverpool cant think who it was put a shout out for us to buy Harry Maguire from Hull but on the evidence on Saturday what a good signing for 15million that is in this transfer window.
Whoever it was put him on transfer committee at once!!
Really good show, Thanks
