IM really happy with this podcast guys I’m glad a few of you pointed out that we are not well equipped upfront for the new season. It would be negligible to go into the season as it is.
1. Daniel Sturridge injury record is terrible and history will tell us he will be injured next season.
2. Origi in my eyes isn’t good enough his fork last season was bad and we would be gambling thinking he may have a good season who really knows.
3. Inngs has had two seasons and two separate injurys to come back from. We cannot rely on Danny this season for anything. He needs to be allowed to come back in his own time.
4. Solanki new player plenty of potentiometer but we really do not know if he will be in and around the first team or the under 23s
5. Ferminho had a great season however did struggle at times I would be happy with Bobby but we can’t rely on him to play week in week out including champions league. Let’s help him out
Summery is we should not gamble on our forward line. Signing Aubamayang would be brilliant and help us out massively
If we were paying $50 million for a full back I’d want Chris Lawler!!
Great pod with some interesting angles from both sides of the discussion
