WITH Shrewsbury Town bidding to become the first English club with a safe standing section, West Brom stating their willingness to trial rail seating in the Premier League and Spirit of Shankly voting on an official stance on safe standing next week, Gareth Roberts hosts a special on the subject.
First Gareth speaks to Jon Darch, a leading campaigner on safe standing who has worked closely with the Football Supporters’ Federation.
He is then joined by Glyn Price, a Shrewsbury Town supporter who edits the Blue and Amber fanzine.
In the final part of the show, Neil Atkinson speaks to Steve Armstrong from the United We Stand fanzine in a new ‘rivals’ section. How is their summer shaping up and how are their fans feeling?

Great to get some appreciation from a ITD fan on Ray Kennedy, possibly the most under rated player in Liverpool history.
Hard to explain just how good a player he was and one of the most clinical finishers the club has ever had.
Personally my favourite ever Liverpool player, I think Mike is a big fan, would make for a great show
My mates and I were surprised when Ray Kennedy, who had been a decent centre forward, was dropped back into “midfield”. But what a revelation! A big man with quick feet and a football brain and passing ability who performed and contributed much, much more than any of us expected.
I suppose the current equivalent is how James Milner acquitted himself last year. If Millie can do that for another few seasons, he will have the – unexpected- but very welcome impact that Kennedy did.

Dortmund CEO Watzke called it “Economic desaster”.
Quote Watzke “Sud-Tribune (standing terraces) cost Dortmund 3.5 million every season”.
Doesn’t seem like an economic disaster that really, does it?
