Rob Gutmann was joined by Craig Hannan, Phillipa Smallwood and John Gibbons for the latest edition of the Gutter.

How about looking at last years targets and discuss if you would still take them.
Nice idea
1.78m = 5ft 10. The lad from Hull is 7cm taller than Moreno and 3cm taller than Clyne. No idea what he’s like though!
i feel like he sees there are no great Left backs in the market and he would rather get an understudy that is not a huge risk, bring in a strong middle of the park: i.e. van dijk and keita, and bring in a winger because that is what killed us last year.
Amazing how many fans seem to disregard the fact that Klopp clearly thinks Milner is a perfectly good left back. I think we need to stop referring to him a “makeshift” or “stop-gap”.
Sure it would be nice to have someone with more of a left foot and a bit more pace, but Milner has a footballing brain, plenty of stamina, is not afraid to mix it up with a crunching tackle, and has a trick or two that allows him to beat a man on the outside.
Liverpool are trying to get a number of big expensive moves done this year, left back just isn’t that big a priority right now. They can review again next season.
