Football parallel realities would make an interesting Podcast; something perhaps, during the Summer lull. Just make sure you set parameters otherwise one can end up discussing all sorts of absurd hypothetical topics. The one I end up debating the most with some is if Fergie had not won the F.A. Cup in 1990. An acquaintance who’s a Manc suggested, (still filled with a pathological hatred of all things Liverpool – Red), he’d end up at Everton at some point and forever be a thorn in our side. Although he’d not have the vast financial resources available to him than at Utd, he’d still manage to build a team that won the league and challenged for honours on a consistent basis. The idea of Everton lifting the title and going onto European glory filled me with dread…And Gareth, I thought the Unwrapped show you did on tickets, provoked by that newspaper article was pretty sound…Anyway, we’ve won away at Watford. Up the Reds!
