The Dutchman has quickly established himself as a fans’ favourite after signing from Newcastle United for £25million last July.

The 26-year-old Rotterdam-born midfielder has scored five goals, provided six assists and teed up 35 chances for the Reds in his first season at Anfield.

And his coolness and calmness at key moments has got him the backing of supporters, who have already conjured up a song for the former PSV man.

We were lucky enough to spend some time with the Holland international during filming for a LFCtv promo for Liverpool’s new home kit launch.
