Neil Atkinson is joined by Carly Murray, Ben Johnson and Karl Coppack to talk about Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Arsenal.

It is fair to say everyone has had a lovely time as The Reds did the business for the second time this year.

Liverpool’s performance is dissected along with the half time showing and the whole thing is marvellous.

    I hope we persist with Gini (or Can), playing a little deeper alongside Hendo’ when he returns. I wonder if using two holders, rather than Gini forward of Hendo’, is the key to more solidity?

    Same thing, we are the best in the league against teams that want to play, but average against teams that sit back and defend as a team with no interest in anything but hitting us on the break.*IF WE PLAY BADLY AGAINST A CRAP TEAM IT IS NOTHING TO DO WITH NOT BEING UP FOR IT, IT IS BECAUSE THIS TEAM IS BUILT TO PLAY GOOD HONEST FOOTBALL AGAINST TEAMS THAT WANT TO DO THE SAME. SIMPLE*

    Firmino is brilliant against teams that play but his level drops against the weaker teams who just defend (ie 3/4 of the prem) and he becomes more ineffective. This is what people mean when they say we need a proper number 9, basically a player that will be as effective against any style of team we play.

    If Klopp can find a way to play against crap teams then we don’t have a problem but so far it same old same old and you fear for our next game against a team intent on doing nothing but countering us for that guaranteed goal. Sorry but can’t get excited about these great performances against top sides until we learn how to play against the majority of this league.

    ps, Lallana is the most intelligent player in this league and fast becoming our best player.

    Goota say the game wad good, the result better but i loved the pink. That was a classic.
