WE’RE approaching a week since the opening of the January transfer window and it has been relatively quiet on the incomings front.

It seems Jürgen Klopp’s advice to journalists, on quizzing the German about transfer rumours, has been received as well with an absence of transfer questions asked in today’s pre-Plymouth press conference.

That’s no fun though, is it?

Hart Available For Cut Price

MANCHESTER City have put a price tag of £15million on out-of-favour stopper Joe Hart, according to The Times.

The England international, currently on loan at Torino, is not in Pep Guardiola’s plans and is reportedly set to depart the club in summer, with Liverpool being heavily linked.

And with his loan club have admitting they wouldn’t be able to pay his wages on a permanent basis, it seems the way could be paved for a move to Merseyside.

Hernandez On The Move?

ANOTHER former Premier League player being linked with a move to Liverpool, and with a seemingly reasonable price tag, is Javier Hernandez.

The former Manchester United could be available for around 25m euros, according to Sport Bild, with Bayer Leverkusen wary that the Mexican’s contract doesn’t have long left to run.

The Reds are one of a few Premier League clubs being linked to Hernandez, but a high finish this season could make them the most attractive prospect of those interested.

Liverpool Among Favourites To Sign Wantaway Fonte

LIVERPOOL have emerged as one of the favourites to sign Jose Fonte after the Southampton captain handed in a transfer request.

The news comes as another blow to the Saints who have witnessed a raft of important players departing in recent years, with Anfield being a common destination.

And the Reds are currently fourth favourites to sign the Euro 2016 winner, at 8/1, behind Benfica, Manchester United and any Chinese club.

Reds Dealt Dembele Blow

BELGIAN striker Moussa Dembele is a name that has been touted as a potential arrival on Merseyside, but it seems the Reds now face fierce competition.

The Celtic man has 14 goals in all competitions and has been a star man for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.

But, according to The Mirror, West Ham are set to launch a £20m bid for Dembele, with The Reds yet to make an official approach, though it is understood Celtic aren’t looking to sell in January.

Agent Comments On Brazilian Starlet’s Future

INTER Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa is unlikely to leave the club this window, according to his agent.

The 20-year-old has found first-team opportunities scarce since his arrival at the San Siro in the summer, with Liverpool one of the clubs being linked with a possible loan move.

However, the Express are reporting that his agent has rubbished talk of a loan and believes the Brazilian favours a stay at the Serie A club, in the hopes that he can prove himself.

Liverpool To Rival United For Young Striker

THE Reds seem set to do battle with Manchester United for the signature of Nottingham Forest youngster Ben Brereton.

The striker has been watched by Premier League scouts with Forest attempting to secure his future with the offer of a new long-term contract, according to the Nottingham Mail.

But the Championship club may be powerless to resist a move for Brereton, with Klopp understood to be an admirer of the teenager.
