Lovren On The Defence
Dejan Lovren has been praising his defensive teammates after three clean sheets on the bounce for the Reds, which is quite an achievement considering how bad we’re supposed to be at defending…
He said: “I think we’re on 85 per cent. We’re in good shape, everyone is doing well, but I think we can be better.
“As the season goes on further, hopefully until the end we can be still in the top four and maybe even in first place.”
Degsy, there. “Maybe” in first place. He knows.
Top Klopp
Jürgen Klopp has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award alongside Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte and, you guessed it, David Moyes.
The Reds won two of their three games in November, drawing one against Southampton.
Go ‘ed, Jürgen.
Woodburn Wows
What a week it’s been for Ben Woodburn. After making his senior debut as a substitute against Sunderland at the weekend, then becoming Liverpool’s youngest ever goal scorer for his strike against Leeds United, he has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
Can’t help but feel slightly jealous, but absolutely made up for him at the same time. Keep smashing it, lad.
