OUR immediate post-match show is the most explosive of reactions to Liverpool’s most recent game. Recorded before the ink is close to drying, it is the show to hear The Anfield Wrap at it most full-throated whether joyous in victory or broken in defeat. The filth and the fury comes to the fore as those who have just been watching the Mighty Reds get themselves in front of a microphone and try to make sense of 90 minutes of sheer hell without their Isotonic Lucozade Sport.
The Pink has Craig Hannan and Steve graves joining Neil Atkinson for a singsong and a ton of excitement after Liverpool’s second half performance against Swansea City.
I know I will be the only one to say this amongst the institutionalised Mignolet haters but Karius looks dreadful. Missed or flapped at every cross. Doesn’t look like he can save a shot. Even his famed distribution seems to invite more trouble than it avoids.
Mignolet has been faultless this season. I am really disappointed he’s been dropped, after all, if you get dropped when playing well, what message does that sent?
Mignolet looks twice as good as Karius, and as everyone looks critically at everything Mignolet ever does, who is actually a better keeper in the league? Most of the others make far more mistakes than he does.
Bring back the Mig.
How many games has Karius played? Two? Mignolet has played for at least 5 years in the EPL and still comes out flapping and missing punches. Maybe give Karius a few more games before we quick to judge.
Come on Andrew
We’ve won enjoy it
Karius hasn’t been great but let’s not right him off after 3 games.
Mignolet performances this season has been the exception to the rule, as he was awful previous seasons.
Karius is young and has time to improve like Reina, who wasn’t amazing in first season compared the seasons which followed.
Ibra probably can’t wait to take on our new keeper.
Loris karius new to premier league needs time to settle mignolet is practically a veteran in the premiership and looks scared every time the ball comes near him give him time he’ll get it right YNWA
Nothing beats a Pink that opens with singing. Up the Reds Harmonic.
Ive gone back and watched our new goalie yesterday. We always used to say you should have 2 players competing for each position so maybe the pressure from him helped Mig to up his game, I agree he has been generally good this season. However, I am not a “hater” but Mig has been generally dreadful over the last 3 years and has cost us lots of points. However the boss does not fancy Danny Ward for some reason, but at least he has kept him on the books, and brought in some competition. (i’n not sure where Manninger fits in).
I watched the Hull game and said OK but he didn’t have anything to do apart from pick the ball out of the net once, but yesterday he reminded me of Mig at his worst. He didn’t dominate his box, and for the Swans last minute miss he was static. Hes had his chance, get Mig back to face MU.
