Neil Atkinson is joined by Stuart Wright, Rob Gutmann and James McKenna for 82 minutes, yes, 82 minutes on Liverpool’s win at Chelsea as they pout over every aspect of it on this week’s (very) big show.

The discussion of Milner is similar to the Paul Tomkins article on moving players back one line to keep their skills in the side but in a better position. Go and read it. And subscribe there as well as TAW
Great listening. In depth, intelligent, informed and not just ‘scouse humour’ BS. It appeals to us southern too. TAW IS funny wherever you herald. Loved it.. And I am a plastic scouse of 42 years! These fellas are fans, blokes and above all entertainers, thoroughly committed to ensuring Liverpool are of focus from every possible angle. Such a find. Thanks!
So stoked after this podcast. What I see developing is a ‘total football’ type model, nobody on this team is going to score 25, but everybody is going to score ten. And we’ll get a new hero every week. This is seriously the happiest I have been in ages as a supporter. I was totally skeptical of Milner and Hendo being played where they are, but I’ve been resorting to type when anxious, and Klopp doesn’t do that. As for Mignolet, he gets to be part of this 7/10 party with some 8-9/10 regular debutantes. I agree we have to let him break free of his type cast. He doesn’t have to be that good. He just has to be part of a winning side each week. I really don’t know what else Hendo has to do to win over doubters of his game, and his leadership. He is total class. Class and needle, as his stare down with Costa reminds.
I thought Clyne was close to man of the match. Hazard is far and away Chelsea’s most dangerous player and Clyne wore him like a glove. We could have dominated like we did and Hazard could have gone on one of his runs and smashed it in the bottom corner and completely changed the game.
On their goal, Matic gets a free run into the box because he rag dolls Lallana out of the way when Lallana before the ball comes to him.
