HERE is your Tuesday morning round-up of the latest Liverpool FC transfer gossip.
Sakho Set For Loan?
Liverpool are considering loaning out Mamadou Sakho in a bid to revive his Liverpool career, according to Paul Joyce from The Express.
The Frenchman has endured a torrid few months having failed a drugs test which saw him miss the Europa League final and the Euros in his home nation – despite being later cleared of using a banned substance – only to suffer an injury prior to the Reds’ pre-season.
He was sent home from Liverpool’s tour of the USA as Jürgen Klopp was unimpressed with the player’s attitude during the tour – having missed, or been late to, several team gatherings. Now it seems he has fallen out of favour, with the Reds seeing a loan as the best option.
Doesn’t make sense to me at all.
Ilori Set To Leave
Reports from The ECHO suggest that Liverpool are set to allow Tiago Ilori to leave before the transfer window closes, with clubs from Spain, Greece and Germany interested.
The defender has returned from his time with Portugal at the Olympics, but is not considered to be in Klopp’s plans for the season, and will be available for around £3million.
But I thought he was quicker than Cristiano Ronaldo?
Sassuolo Turn Down Balo
Sassuolo have confirmed they turned down an offer from agent Mino Raiola to sign Mario Balotelli, according to Football Italia.
A number of clubs have talked about the possibility of signing the Liverpool misfit, but it seems most are being very cautious, and as yet a move doesn’t seem close.
Can we pay someone to take him yet?
Taiwo To Leave On Loan
Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi looks set to be joining Dutch side NEC Nijmegen on a season long loan.
All Nigeria Soccer have reported that the 19-year-old has agreed terms and passed a medical, with the move set to be completed subject to a successful work permit application.

Reds To Miss Out On Youngster?
Liverpool could be set to miss out on the signing of former trialist Matthew Knox, according The Express.
The 16-year-old currently plays for Scottish club Livingston but it is being reported that Manchester United are in talks to sign the striker, and are willing to pay £150,00o to secure his signature.
I’m hearing the club is open to selling Sakho if a buyer and an agreeable fee can be found, if not a loan will do.
His behaviour during the summer sealed his fate.
