WILL Christian Benteke and Mario Balotelli finally leave the club? Will we ever sign a left back? Here is today’s round-up of the latest Liverpool FC transfer gossip.
Benteke Latest
The latest news is that there isn’t really any latest news. While it is understood that the club are still in talks with Crystal Palace, nothing has been agreed and Benteke remains in Liverpool.
West Brom joined the race to sign the Belgian striker but it is believed that he would favour a move to the Eagles. It isn’t clear why talks are stalling, but it could be to do with the fee involved, given that the Reds are looking to recoup what they paid for him last summer.
Getting worried this might not happen.

Balotelli Latest
Another club has declared their interest in the misfit striker, this time its Sassuolo, though they have said Liverpool will need to drop their asking price in order for a move to happen, according to ESPN FC.
Chievo appears the player’s most likely destination, with it being rumoured that an agreement could be in place, but it seems likely now more than ever that the Italian won’t be at Anfield come the end of August.
We should probably start paying for clubs to take him at this stage.
Paredes Bid Rejected?
The ECHO are reporting that the Reds have had a bid of 18million euros for Argentine playmaker Leandro Paredes rejected.
It is understood that Roma are looking to keep hold of the player, with manager Luciano Spaletti believing that he can become a star, though a bid closer to 22m euros could tempt them into selling.
Still don’t know if he’s any good, like.
Chelsea In For Joao Mario
Chelsea have entered the race to sign Liverpool target Joao Mario, with reports from The Express claiming that they have made a bid of £39m for the Portuguese international.
While it appears that Inter are still the favourites to sign the Euro 2016 star, he is believed to favour a move to the Premier League, though he remains committed to Sporting Lisbon.
He actually looks a great player, would be more than happy to sign him.
Clearly not the Echo reporting Paredes. Tribal Football!
