JUST a quick round-up of the biggest Liverpool FC related stories from today.
Klopp on Hillsborough
The gaffer has been saying some nice things about what he did before taking the Liverpool job. His latest quotes show just how suited to the club he really is, and why he has brought a positive atmosphere back to the club.

Lucas on his way?
Lots going around today that Lucas Leiva could be gone by the end of this week. Turkish TV reporting that Galatasaray have agreed a fee of around 3million euros. Not sure how much truth there is in it, fee seems low as well. Be a shame as he’s the last surviving member of the Rafa Era.

Lucas Leiva is set to join Galatasaray this week according to reports in Turkey. Around three million euros.

He strikes me as a porridge man. Nothing too fancy but providing a good base. Not sure if Lucas is that keen on a move to Galatasaray

Wijnaldum talking titles
New signing Georginio Wijnaldum has insisted that Liverpool can win the title this season – citing Leicester’s previous triumph as inspiration – and has set himself a target of at least 10 goals for the season. Is right, Gini.

Emre and Stevie do lunch
Emre Can returned to training last week, having returned from his post-Euro’s holiday and was talking up former captain Steven Gerrard.
The German international told the club website: “I met him in LA and we went for lunch. It’s always great to see Stevie.
“It’s an honour to know him and it was an honour to have lunch with him. You can always speak with him about football and life. He’s a very good guy.”

Injury news
Ovie Ejaria is set to miss the rest of pre-season due to a groin injury sustained against Chelsea – that’s three now injured from the bruising encounter.
Though they’re yet to discover the full extent of the injury it is a great shame as he’d been lively in recent games, hopefully he can come back stronger and continue to impress Klopp.

Elsewhere Metro.co.uk are reporting that Santi Cazorla has been added to Arsene Wenger’s growing list of doubts for the first game of the season against the Reds.
Cazorla joins Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, and Mesut Ozil as potential first team absentees for the opener.
Charlie’s dreams come true
Great story this. 10 year old Charlie Fearns from Litherland was given the chance to go and meet Gerrard and the LA Galaxy team, after flying out to America for leukaemia treatment.
With £150k raised by Scousers for the treatment our former skipper donated a further £25k and brought young Charlie out as a mascot for their game against Seattle Sounders.
