WE know lots of you listen to our free podcasts but have never made the jump to TAW Player, our subscription Liverpool FC podcast feed.
With that in mind, and the new season just around the corner, we wanted to showcase what you’re missing out on.
For £5 per month, subscribers to TAW Player get access to everything from immediate post-match reaction from Anfield or on the road, to analysis, previews, historical LFC shows and exclusive interviews.
In the second of our TAW Player Taster Week releases, we bring you a much-loved episode of What We Call History. Going back to the season 1985/6, Neil Atkinson is joined by Gary Shaw and Mike Nevin, authors of On The March With Kenny’s Army, a book about that very season, to go through the closing stages of what proved to be a historic season for Liverpool FC.
This was worth the subscription alone lads and lasses. Get on it!
Personally for me it brought back so many memories. I was a 16yr old at Chelsea seeing Sweet 16 being won and then back in the Smoke 7 days hence seeing the cup lifted. I felt invincible in that week May 3rd – 10th 1986. Haha
This episode didn’t show up on my pod feed. I’m a subscriber using beyond pod and the free shows are never there, I have to listen through the website.
Still, cracking show lads. Content is well worth a fiver.
