Somewhat surprising that the guys think the Chilwell deal is solely money or an arbitrarily derived “value” we put on him and the reason we didn’t buy Ben was FSG being parsimonious (nicely put). There are so many contract factors involved you can’t know it’s just the cash. LCFC may have wanted a buyback price too high or a sell-on % that we thought too high.
But no, Mr Cali thinks, not solely, that it must be a flaw of FSG and their value process that prevented the deal. Really? Evidence?
