All my life I’ve been the person who got along well with the curmudgen (or as you would say, the miserable old git) – my first boss, my father-in-law, my next door neighbor. If ever I manage to get to Liverpool (plans for Nov 2017) I look forward to meeting Gutmann for a pint.
