FAR too soon after the game for anything resembling jokes or laughs, John Gibbons is joined by Steve Graves and Mike Girling to try and analyse another disappointing night for Liverpool’s league campaign.
They wonder if there is anything to learn from Leicester’s success, forwards who can run and defenders who can head it perhaps? They also try to figure out where Liverpool go from here. Should they break the Benteke glass, or wait for the cavalry?
They try desperately to look for positives. They don’t find many.

Totally agree about something needing to change. People keep pointing out how poor a lot of our players can be and how unbalanced the squad is. And there’s no getting away from that. But the reality is Klopp has them trying to play a style of football that they are clearly not capable of playing. We might be able to if Sturridge ever gets back to playing regularly. But that’s about as likely as Gary Neville winning the La Liga manager of the month award. I’m not sure what the answer is because I’m obviously not Jürgen Klopp but it cant be to continue as we have been. We’ll just end up losing more games than we’ll win before the seasons out. At this point Id almost be in favour of just putting 11 men behind the ball and hoping for the best. Maybe we could stick Moreno up front and have him chase long punts up field like a golden retriever.
I have seen this games many times in the past, usually its the Reds that don’t play well but have a boss striker and scores two goals and everyone goes home. Its frustrating watching a team without a No9 get to the final third and then realise there is nobody running across the front post and no movement.
I would love to know why Markovic was bought for 20Mil and then loaned out without the possibility to bring him back. This season was the perfect opportunity to see what the lad can do and he is in Turkey.
A team with goalscorers can win even when playing crap
A team without goalscorers easily don’t win even if they play brilliant

Don’t get me wrong as I truly believe that Jurgen Klopp is the man to take us forward but definitely not with this bunch of dead beats.
He is simply relying on and indeed picking the wrong players over and over again to start games, try something new and be daring, take a chance, you never know.
If these guys are playing too much give them a rest and give the young lads a start.
Milner, Moreno, Henderson, Can, Firming, Migniolet all had a nightmare of a game, although he made two great saves, come on Jurgen rest them all, what is there to lose.
Lallana is a second half player and some may say second rate player at best, too many touches and no end result, he should go in the summer, James Milner, great workmate but no class and can’t take a corner for toffee, he should go in the summer.Alberto Moreno, great pace, no end result, can’t shoot lower than 30 feet and can’t cross a ball, get rid and play Brad smith instead.
I blame Migniolet for both goals and believe if he had been on his line for the first he may have had a chance at saving it, Jamie Vardy said himself he saw daft arse off his line as usual and well the rest is history.
The second, a decent keeper would have saved it or got a hand to it.
Isn’t it time to give Danny Ward a chance Jurgen, rest Migniolet as he needs it.
We had 8 corners, why can’t our players get it over the first man, my 7 year old nephew could do better.
We had most of the possession and the ball in the box, why didn’t anyone shoot for christ’s sake, Bill Shankly once said, if you find yourself in the box with the ball at your feet, pop it in the net and we’ll talk about your options later, some of the current players may want to reflect on that.
