It’s quite amazing we can spend so much money on players that now regularly performs like that.

Everytime we lose there’s a complaint about the way we approach these games. When Watford happened people complained we didn’t set ourselves up to be direct. Now against West Ham we were probably more direct and people complain there’s not enough craft and technique
I think we should just accept that we don’t have players who are good enough going forward. Coutinho is not really a 10 goal a season man, Firmino’s still adjusting to the league, Ibe is raw. Benteke reminds me of Heskey
Whether going direct or playing it on the floor we just don’t have good enough players, and not enough pace.
When we do have spells in the game when we have possession on the ball and pin the other team back. We don’t capitalise and take are chances we have to many players in the team with no pace or finding the tge back of the net. Very impressed with Brad smith when he came on especially his final ball and lovern had another commanding game aswell. Just never felt we were going to score today coz were not creating enough chances and we don have the players who know how to score a goal.
