NEIL ATKINSON is joined by Adam Smith and Stuart Wright as they look at Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool against Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United in the FA Cup.
They focus on the performances of the inexperienced players but also talk about central defenders and their strengths and weaknesses – not just Liverpool’s but throughout the game.
The players lacking in first-team games came out of the match well and each gets discussed along with Liverpool’s set pieces.
The lads also have a big conversation about Christian Benteke, who again left fans at Anfield frustrated.
It was Joe Allen involved in the clash of heads.
Would love a shoe to tackle transfers guys. Or should I say lack of transfers happening at liverpool
What good have the commitee done for the club and where do Luverpool find themselves when it really comes to buying players
Show not shoe
Yeah it was Jallen who clashed heads with Tomkins. Whoever said it wasn’t has had a nightmare.
Going to have to seriously consider being so arsed about Liverpool if Benteke and Mignolet are starters at the beginning of next season and the main little fella Jallen is shown the door.
Night and day for Lovren when you think back to one of the worst Anfield performances I’ve ever seen against West Ham in the league. There’s hope for us all.
Wasn’t happy with Neil comparing Clyne in a negative light to that fat idiot Glen Johnson, then he pulled me back in with the big ‘start Ojo upfront’ shout. Yes.
Adam Smith has just become my hero. What he said about Mignolet was spot on and if he’s prepared to set himself on fire in protest over Mignolet then I will gladly join him in a worthy death.
HOW MANY OF US MUST DIE BEFORE SIMON GETS THE BOOT LIVERPOOL!?
In regards to Benteke, perhaps we were just too spoiled with Suarez, but I want another Suarez type player, and Benteke is the antithesis of that type of player. Perhaps he would be better with legs around him Neal, but that still doesn’t change his natural game… And his natural game is doing my head in.
One prime example is our first goal against Exeter, where he actually plays a part in the goal. For anyone who can be bothered, watch it again. He lays the ball off nicely, but then just stands there watching. I thought to myself, if that was Suarez, he lays that off then makes a run to the near post to get on the end of the move.

There just isn’t enough movement, intelligence, or passion to put that round thing in the net. I’m done with him. Don’t want him as a plan B or whatever. Let’s recoup whatever we can and get the right type of forward in the summer.
If there was ever I time for the club to buy players and help the team it was this window
Steven Calker who we have mainly used as a striker proves we needed help with goals
Once again the comitee have shown how inept they all are at their jobs
Why are no players lined up to sign in the transfer window, why do we mess up again trying to sign a player in teixeria
Did we not realise we would have to pay money to sign someone who could bring goals to the team
Surly the owners or manager must be thinking what the fuck do this comitee do all year ?
We can not have any excuses no more complaining about fixture pile up cos the club had a chance to help the team (transfer window) and failed
Any now the new line they are selling us is we could have Sturidge back soon. Well I won’t hold my breath on that one
Out of all the teams in the prem Liverpool was in need of players bringing in more than most
Imagine what a boost signing two good players would have given this team or even one player
Great show. Particularly impressed by Stu’s riff on managers and centre halves. You should have him on more often. He’s be good on the Tuesday Review too.
