Quality was def an issue today. We seemed to play the game the way McLaren would’ve wanted. Benteke didn’t get served, but maybe they set up to anticipate that? Felt like an error not to start with Sturridge.
Hard to think, given what Klopp said pre-match, but can’t help feeling a wee bit of complacency set in today. How many of us really thought we’d lose? Really tough for the players not to feel the same way.
Overall a poor show. Two things summed it up as indicative
1. Skrtel going back towards our own goal line under pressure
2. Lumping it forward in last 15
