GARETH ROBERTS is joined by Rob Gutmann, Glenn Price and Andy Heaton for this weeks backpage press review show, and up for discussion are:
Greg Dyke being a tit.
Alberto Moreno’s agent being a tit.
Jürgen Klopp being anything but a tit.
Brad Smith ceasing to act like a tit.
And Tim Sherwood being a massive tit.
This week’s Back Page, it’s full of….
Greg Dyke born in Liverpool??
Can you post a link of the sherwood rant? Or let me know where i can find it?

Here you go, mate. Scroll down a bit. http://www.football365.com/news/mails-its-time-to-call-out-tim-sherwood
That was amazing article by the scout which was read at the end. Sherwood is clueless and I cant believe people still ire him. One of my favorite quote by Sherwood is when a reporter asks him how will he turn around results at villa and he says “I will just keep swinging and something will work” something along this line. Amazing article by that scout.
On Morenos quotes about the “boring” training sessions and they dont play any games any more maybe this was where Rodgers was going wrong.
Remember a quote from him about not having 2 training sessions the same so it doesn’t get boring which worked wonders in 13/14 with a week between games.
Last season with more games and less time training we struggled. Obviously other issues led to our dowfall aswell but Rodgers complained of the lack of time on the training pitch as has Klopp recently.
Concentrating solely on tactics and less on fun has navigated this issue and is another example of Klopps simple solutions for what seems like complex problems.
Though i liked and supported Rodgers this fellas something else, got to love him
Got to love the Fleetwood rant.
Re training: Apparently Klopp, like Rafa before him, follows Sacchi’s methods: constant repetition. If players get it wrong he will physically move them himself. Legend has it that senior Milan players begged him to change his training methods and they immediately starting leaking goals. Those same players then begged him to revert back to the boring training: the experience of losing taught them the value of the boring, repetitive training methods.
That Sherwood rant – boss!
