BACK by popular demand host Gareth Roberts brings you three players from Liverpool’s past to discuss, debate and rate for their place in Liverpool folklore.
We’ve got a controversial keeper who won the lot, a Brazilian with a wand of a left foot, but a dodgy knee above it, and a fella who put us top of the league in April 2009.
Big thanks to Stephen Evans and Ian Salmon for sharing their memories of a Liverpool legend, cult star and unsung hero.
Merry Christmas.
There are loads more players!
Well done, sterling effort!
I know. It’s finding people who have watched them who can come in to talk about it!
Fair enough. Ray Houghton is a great unsung hero, best right-sided midfielder in my lifetime yet seldom mentioned. Jerzy Dudek is a great cult hero for obvious reasons. You might be struggling for heroes though. Have you done Lawro or Emlyn Hughes yet?
