NEIL ATKINSON, Paul Senior, Ian Salmon and Gareth Roberts are angry, angry men about Liverpool’s defeat to West Ham United.
Not safe for work.
Not safe for Lovren.

Rodger is shit, be honest. Forth season now, no excuses, still as fucking clueless and dour as when he set up his stall for his first game after KD’s dross. Suarez was his single saving grace, and what a season that was. Legend, sadly.
Ah well, FSG are happy with their yes-man, and high profile outgoings.
Mancs next, easy win as we’re laughably shite in 2015.
Early exit from EL is on the cards; and to think, Klopp and Rafa were available. Hahahha, you’ve got to laugh. Well, Lovren was, best clown performance I’ve ever seen.
“KD’s dross” ? Behave mate .
It was the attack that was most worrying to me. Why does Benteke still have no one running beyond him? It’s absurd how isolated he is. I couldn’t have set us up against Arsenal last week, but today was piss easy even for a fan like me.
A professional top flight manager should be able to get this team scoring goals.
Got to feel for Benteke. Seems he’s expected to hold the ball up, flick it on and run onto it, ‘cos no-one else is going to do it. Poor set up, poor substitutions. Looked a lot like last year.
Great show. Bottle that anger. Use it on Monday and Tuesday. Calm down in your daily lives but remember the rage when analysing the match. Don’t let it dissipate because we were shite, and two or three days reflection shouldn’t change that.
It was a strange call by Rodgers to set up as we did knowing full well they were about to park the West Han bus. In order to pin them back we needed to have bodies in and around the box with runners either side of Benteke, and our back line of 2/3 , not 4 plus Lucas, should have been pithed just inside their half.
What occurred was no real game plan which amounted to indecision and confusion with no focal or pivotal areas of strength. When our disjointed efforts broke down they were aloud to control and dictate the play running at the backing off defence which should have held their nerve and ground. I’m afraid that’s been a recurring tale for far too long in reference to Martin Skrtel’s legacy and needs to be halted. Until we have 2 dominant CDs who play on the front foot, consequently relying aided bu a sweeping Keeler to tidy up behind, then our defensive frailties will remain.
When we did gain possession West Ham were still dictating play and evidence of this was the ball was ending up at the feet of Joe Gomez, and that is clearly not his remit.
In short it was an unbalanced side which showed weakness playing on the back foot and unable to adjust to the unusual dominance displayed by West Ham and I’m sure most would agree 10/10 for Bilic’s tactical manoeuvres which his team carried out superbly and fully deserved their win.
Let’s get over it and move on and not dissect the events endlessly, all that will achieve is an exposed and festering, gaping wound.
Hopefully, by the time the Tuesday Review is taped, at least one person will have watched the match a second time, not affected by the emotional pain of the defeat, and with analysis in mind.
I thought the point of the pink was to get the immediate after match ( aftermath) opinion??
It is.
Enjoyed listening to that even if i haven’t seen any of the game. Find it quite surprising that you’ve somehow managed to say that Rodgers has simply had a fucking disaster. Playing those 3 in midfield was absolutely bonkers in this game. So fucking annoying to have this result just before an international break. I agree with Paul that our midfielders are too similar but then Rodgers clearly believes that Milner has solved our midfield issues and that is absolutely fucking terrifying if he does. If Rodgers plays Lovren against United then fuck me i’d make an argument to sack him on the spot!
Hopefully a loss like this will stop people getting massively carried away with our start to the season, so we won’t get stuff like ‘Nobody has been as good as us’ being bandied about after two 1-0 wins.
We are a team trying to get from 7th to 4th. We havent hit a magic formula and there are massive questions about the team, formations and management systems at the club. Two wins seemed to knock all questions out of the room. Let’s not be the hubristic nincompoops
Rodgers will be manager at this club for the duration of his contract and possibly longer, as he is cost effective. End of.
We have good players, our opponents have Brendan Rodgers.
someone please sack this manager,,,,,it feels very very bad…..even the first 2 games ,we won were not good enough. We won against a newly promoted team in our home with the help of a favored decision.
I hope this manager is changed before its too late.I believe we have good players and with Benteke coming in we are good at front as well….we just need to bring a high quality manager who can teach how to score goals….
Brendan still is suited for an assistant job in clubs like Liverpool…..It was not because of Brendan we came close to win title…it was because of Suarez..
