It’s interesting that everyone would agree the emphasis is on physicalaty for our opener yet no one mentioned the best player left in the squad on the ball under pressure from a physical presence. Marcovic.
I feel for the lad because he’s going to be overlooked again this season. I think given a run of games in the League, he’d be a better option than Lallana and Ibe. Nothing against those two. I just Marcovic is better under right guidance and position.
I’d keep Markovic at the club this season. Let him prove himself in the EL, and domestic cups and he become instrumental in the second half of the season.
Could be a very interesting option of the bench too in tight games.
Given a run as an attacker, I think he’ll score more than Ings and Origthingy too.
