I like the idea of this podcast but seeing as most of our buisness has been done and most summers theres a limited number of players to discuss id reccomend you branch up part of the show to talking about transfer gossip about other clubs. Otherwise its a bit repetitive can tell listening to it that your running out of things to talk about.
Have to disagree about Balotelli, hes a waste of space. The reason why he had a good goalscoring record was because he took penalties. In fairness he did try at times and the team didnt play to his strenghts, but he never did what he was asked either. I do not see 1 good attribute that he has over any of are other strikers. It wasnt even like he looked dangerous and just unfortunate. Defenders hate playing against awkward strikers who are constantly on the move. Mario just stood there, and wasnt even physical or skillful enough to beat them summed up by Villa at home and Senderos had him in his pocket. I just dont see what he offers.

His touch is exceptional. Better than Borini’s. His strength, better than Sturridge’s. His hold up play, better than Lambert’s. Mario is a very talented footballer. You simply do not win multiple league titles in different countries unless you are quality. You simply do not win the champions league in two different positions for your team unless you are quality. You simply do not have an international scoring record of more than 1 in 3 and perform like he did at Euro 2012, ripping a team as good as Germany apart, unless you are quality.
Rodgers failed to get the best out of him, and I doubt Rodgers tried that hard to get the best out of him because he never wanted him in the first place.
