However. You’re very harsh on Lambert as in the last 2 games, granted his mobility like SG is an age thing, yet he has shown in a way he’s the glue that pulls the play together he’s the Intelligent pivotal player with the deft close passes and touches our livelier players should be using in and around the box where it’s tight. Shame about the legs!
Rightly so Terry has taken a pounding over the years but tell you what, can he defend and our lads can seriously learn plenty from his positionig when the ball is being played into the box from wide positions, Skrtl especially.
Finally about closed season reinforcements, my 3 girls could identify where they’re needed. 2 ready made strikers, PEREZ of the Toon for one, I know he’s young but so was Fowler & Owen. Plus A.N. Other, then if we’re really motoring a seasoned quality ready made defensive mid. God only knows who that may be though. Add the guys fresh from injury and it’s all looking good. Brendan needs to adopt a mean streak and shut the fuck up! And we’re ready to go again.
