WE’VE done it. Nailed the big one. Discussed the figure in Liverpool’s history that you could talk about forever and a day. And there are even a few tales in there you won’t have heard before.
As well as the legend of legends, Gareth Roberts, Tony Barrett and Rob Gutmann talk an unsung player with a will to win that was second to none and a cult hero who – like the flag said – is “boss”.
And Could He Play.
I think Rob is unbelievably harsh on Mascherano’s abilities, especially as regards his Barca career, seeing as he’s gone there and played in the main as a Centre Back – you have to be technically very good to do that ( plus being a continual Argentinian captain too)
I don’t know if this is working cos I can’t get the Taw player to talk to me
Alright John, all is tested and working, mate. Instructions here: http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/taw-player/instructions/
If you can’t log in there is an issue with your account and we’d need you to email in with your details so we can check for you.
Cheers

Not sure you really captured Kenny the player, there las. You can’t understand Kenny without reference to Kevin Keegan. You could do a whole show on the two of them. I almost cried when Keegan left, he was my boyhood hero and we all imagined he’d be irreplaceable. Then came Kenny, and the transition was seamless. They were totally different types of player, but equally great. For those not old enough to have seen them both, Luis Suarez was like a hybrid: Keegan’s energy and industry with Kenny’s touch.
